Surgical instruments: List of necessary instruments, uses and non-uses of instruments, care and cleaning, sterilizing surgical packs |

Review of chronic surgery: Aseptic technique, sterilization methods, suturing, catheter material and manufacture
Anesthetics and planes of surgical anesthesia, monitoring, analgesics, respirators & ACUC requirements |

Practice Session: Suturing techniques, latex simulation |

i) Intubation of rats and mice
